Made Through a Week!
Day 7:
Breakfast-Egg whites (w/spinach, 1/4 avacado) & Small Bowl of melon/grapes w/few walnuts
Snack-Nuts
Lunch-Shrimp/Buffalo Salad (w/spinach, cherry tom, yellow pepper, 1/4 avacado, balsamic), spag squash
Dinner-Salmon over mixed veggies, 1/2 cooked apple w/ cinnamon
Other snacks throughout day-Orange, Carrot w/ alm butter

Dinner: Shrimp with bbq spices (the spanish smoked paprika is awesome!!), salad (romaine lettuce, olives, olive oil, vinegar, tomatoes, bacon bits)
...still feeling really hungry but feeling good...loving clean eating

D-Burger and Fries....Paleo Style of Course!! Buffalo patty btw 2 portabella mushrooms (w/tom & spinach), and spag. squash

I know squash is not encouraged b/c its higher gylcem...but I LOVE IT and wont give that up...its natural and Im stickin with it ;-)

Lunch: Chicken with raspberries, olives, V8 juice
Post workout/Dinner: Turkey chili (14 oz chicken broth, onion, olive oil, turkey burger, 2 cans rotel..and some spices). Definitely tastes much much better with cheese!
Snackin: jerky (need to make my own, store kinds suck), green grapes, V8 juice
Looks like I need more fat for the day....

Day 6...yesterday
So, I cheated a little on this day when we went to play poker. I had two glasses of wine and these little hot dog thingys..a TON of them. I was starving yesterday but I'm hoping thats a good things because maybe that means my appetite is back. So..despite the what I consider a small cheat yesterday...I'm still sticking with it!
Breakfast: 3 eggs, brocolli, blueberries, nuts
Postworkout: Shrimp (what I made the other day), salad (romaine lettuce, olives, bacon bits, olive oil, vinegar), avocado
Dinner: Finished off the shrimp, blueberries, trail mix (mixed nuts, dried cranberries)
Then at poker: deviled eggs, wine, some fruit, peppers with AWESOME salsa, little hot dog thingys with bbq sauce

Day 5
So today was a little more difficult to track, I was hungry and nibbed alot on different things such as nuts, fruits, and red & orange peppers....So I decided I need to get more protein from meats and fish as my base to avoid snackiness! I also ate more fruit as to prepare for the long run I had planned today.
B-dried apple w/ almond butter (B-lined straight from bed b/c I was HUNGRY!), 1 egg, bowl of banana, blueberries, melon and crush almonds.

Paleo Dinner for 4???
I propose we do a paleo dinner for 4 next week sometime? We could do it at my house or your guys house. If we do it at your house..I just ask that it be like 5-530ish..only cause I have to put Belle to bed at a descent hour...and I'm assuming you won't mind if she comes! Shes pretty cool and pretty Paleo friendly!
We could all prepare something for it too. I kinda want to do the main dish of shrimp..what I made last night cause I love it. Someone could make a salad/veggie/fruit side/dessert?

*HOMEMADE: Beef Jerky=dehydrated eye of the round, Salsa=Cuisinart fresh tomatoes, cilantro, sweet onion, green onion, lemon juice, Guacamole=smashed avocados, diced tomatoes, lemon juice & cilantro

Breakfast-1 egg mixed with 1/2 egg whites w/ red pepper & zucchini, 1.5 cup coffee
Lunch- Orange
Salad= Turkey, greens, 1/2 avacado,sm apple,carrot, balsalmic &olive oil
Snack- Protein Shake(Water, 1 scoop protein & 2/3 c blueberries)
Dinner-Spagetti Squash w/sauce
Sauce=diced up heirloom tomato, red pepper, zucchini, balsamic & olive oil, herd seasoned
Snack- throughout day nibbled on nuts and homemade beef jerky
Comment- Going to take out protein shake bc I do not think the content is very paleo, and believe I am getting enough protein from the natural sources.
I also had some freakin crab cravings! My Brain is saying where is that bread and pumpkin butter!!!!(well hidden away in the back of the cabinet;)) Ready for day 3

Paleo 20 day challenge day two
So today is day 2 of this challenge, this is my first food challenge. Crazy how it was not until I started that I realized how much of the "no intake" foods that I was consuming, so this challenge became a bit more of a challenge than I was expecting. Juls, katie and I went for a run later this morning and I was wondering how my body would feel after making such a change in intake the day before and it handled beautifully!! Felt great and it is about 11 40am right now and I do not feel famished like I usually do around this hour.
Super motivated and excited about it on day 2! I will post intake at end of the day
